This x100. Kudos to Red Bull for taking full advantage of a stupid feature of F1. I especially love how every DRS pass is lauded on broadcast coverage as some sort of achievement.

I do not like wings
and also do not like the ban on moving wings
esp in the fiddy flex BS that red bull and others are claimed to do

if the cars have wings let them move as needed
or at least flex in a controlled way/rate

or ban them totally inc ducts and side pod rads ground effects too
and return to drafting packs for better races and less parades

Kelly Piquet's pretty hot. If she took an interest in you, you too might overlook her being Danny Kyvat's sloppy seconds. Plus I'm sure she/they must have nannies galore, which eliminates a lot of the drudgery of parenting.

If there has to be a passing aide, I far prefer Indycar's +50HP push-to-pass. Use whenever and wherever but a maximum number of seconds per race, so use it wisely.

Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying the McLaren problems. I've started to really dislike Zak and the whole Piastri shenanigans (plus no Ricciardo)... Not like Alpine is doing *Fantastic* but better than papayas.

I couldn't agree more on your McLaren take. Someone here said Zak is looking more and more like a carpet salesman all the time. After watching DtoS and the bs with Alpine and Piastri I couldn't be happier.

(Not only are the teams ratting other teams out, it seems like the drivers in some of the top teams aren't happy at all with each other and management - two races in! This looks like it might be the year of interteam fireworks. I wonder what the circus is going to look like by the time we get to Monaco? Walls between drivers in the pits?)

That makes sense, if they got a 10 second penalty to stick to Alonzo, they get 3rd place and more points. It was a really stupid thing for the jack man to do. I saw it happen and wondered if touching the car during the penalty is forbidden, his jack sure looking like it was touching.

Rules are rules, follow the rules! It was a pretty minor infraction. FIA need to be real clear, 100% no touching the vehicle while serving the penalty. And add the new penalty withing a few minutes, not after the race!

Yup, what I enjoyed though was the subtext ! it's funny Mercedes now feels a need for this, since Aston is beating them... with their own engine ! That is embarassing ! I read somewhere else that the Mercedes board was considering giving the better engines to Aston if the trend continued (not that they are different, but they bench test them and the best ones go to the home team obviously). Not sure if it's true. But still funny.

Kudos to toto for biting the sidepod bullet and joking about putting red bull stickers on the car.
