I love lists. So much to debate and disagree with...

![]() ![]() ![]() I think some of the prototype models are pretty fugly. The camouflaged test 911 is a riot. Thankful when they got to the T7 they kept sculpting the roofline. |

The article claims the Pink Pig 917 and the CGT are uglies. Blasphemy!
p.s. they also said the tank was ugly... I bet they wouldn't tell that to its face when the barrel is pointed at them.

I've never thought the CGT was a particularly good looking car.

The 914 was totally misunderstood by the public at that time.
It was a great car.

It is a personification of 'form follows function' AND has Carbon Fiber! (can you hear Jeremy Clarkson saying it?)

- IMO the 959 is one of the most handsome cars ever made.
They are a site to behold IRL.

No one has mentioned the 996, so it might as well be me.
I like the 997, so I'm not anti the new cars, I just don't like the 996 looks and styling. I know it's a very good car, and a great car for the money, I just don't like the looks and I'm into looks. |

Where is that wide body "935" cab that lived on eBay?

Back in the 1980s Vanilla Ice had a Gemballa made 911 Turbo, slat nose cabriolet that was hideous. I refuse to google an image of it as I would need eye bleach after looking at it.

I could tell that was going to be a stupid, annoying story, without even having to look at it. Tipoff was the "jalopnik" link

Big love for 914s and 924s. Very handsome cars in completely different ways, and very appropriate for the eras that produced them. Still remember the first 928 I ever saw in person, in May 1978. An oak green metallic car with op-art interior. It was a space ship. One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen stepped out of it. I admit to liking the T7. Always thought that upright greenhouse was very proper and clean, but then I like notchbacks and hardtop cabs. I guess it is a matter of personal taste. Cayennes and panameras are ugly. Period!
