What kind of a car is this?

I don’t think anyone is going to get this one

Something homemade (handmade if you're fancy) with a 4 link in the back and most likely a SBC in the front.

Drag car? Nah, that's a treaded tire. Heat wrap to keep the cabin temps at bay.

Maybe it's something famous like the Batmobile or that Firebird on Knight Rider (or General Lee)

Massive hollow driveshaft, but with lots of protection in case it explodes. Low speed, high torque situations.
Suspension has many ride points, is it generic or does the vehicle require suspension tweaks based on use?
WAY too many gussets between the frame and chassis, meant to survive a hit?
Some kind of hydraulic pump, hydro brakes? Hydro steering?
Drop out third member...Toyota? Ford 9 inch? Doesn't look like either...
Quickly tack welded rear body panels, not meant for long term use.
Crappy bolts in the suspension, exposed wires, rust,

One of the cars from Mad Max.

Interesting "skirts" on the side rails.

Some kind of restomod race car or dry lake car with a completely fabricated chassis?

If it had a carbon fiber driveshaft would be safer and could of saved a lot weight on the heavy looking drive shaft containment hoops.
Don't like the fuel line running a foot away from the exhaust.
A side hit will have the rubber fuel line smashed against the hot exhaust.
Exhaust is not mandrel bent so can't be very serious about performance.
Wrapping exhuast helps contain heat and promotes rust.
I guess a home built street rod for morning cars and coffee meets.

Not to mention the P is mounted rather low.

Have welder, will build.

My guess is that someone is drag racing it, although the tires are clearly wrong for that.

Low mounted open fuel pump next to hot cats. No skids or bracket points.
