So this thread just gave me an idea. I just logged into chatgpt. I asked the bot to "Write a post as a Porsche 911 owner posting to the Pelican Parts Off Topic forum about a strange event that occurred that day." Below is what it replied:

Hey everyone,

I'm a proud owner of a Porsche 911 and I wanted to share a strange event that happened to me earlier today. I was driving on the freeway when I suddenly heard a loud noise coming from the engine. The car started to shake and I had to quickly pull over to the side of the road.

When I got out to check what was going on, I noticed that the engine cover was open and the engine was smoking. I was really confused because I had just taken the car in for maintenance a few weeks ago and everything seemed to be running smoothly.

I called a tow truck and had the car towed to a nearby mechanic. After taking a look at the engine, they discovered that a squirrel had made its way into the engine bay and chewed through some of the wiring. Can you believe it? A squirrel caused all of that trouble!

The mechanic fixed the wiring and cleaned out the engine bay, so the car is running smoothly again. But I can't help but be amazed at how something so small and innocent-looking could cause such chaos.

Has anyone else had any strange or unexpected events happen with their cars? I'd love to hear your stories!
