We need to know how many nits in wit.

I'd say 5. There's 8 nits in a wit, so a half wit is 4.

I might be thinking ounces and pints though. Never mind.

There are 8 bits in a byte, and two bytes in a word .... so it's somewhere between 0 and 1 :D

But how many bytes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, oh wait, that's licks, and its 3.
