We had somewhat of a cold front move through and it was windy as all get out yesterday. Today the high here in Opelika is 70 degrees and the low overnight is 46. Currently it is 64 degrees and sunny!!! A beautiful cloudless day!!!

Odd weather here too for the time of year. This week will be cool with a decent chance of rain on Thursday. Last night was down to 39 degrees. Normally it's about ten to twenty degrees warmer this time of year.

Was nice this week, was swimming yesterday, got the pool up to 93 with solar heating and the pool cover.
Bring on the warmer spring weather, but in San Diego it's going to be cold and gray all this week.
20/20/20 fertilizer applied to all my plumerias to encourage a good month of leaf growth.
All drip irrigation checked and working correctly.
Good cool and cloudy day to clean the RV rubber roof today.
May gray leads to June gloom.
Late summer is the best time for hot sunny beach weather in San Diego.

Big story here is the humidity. Down in the 30's right now!!!

Thanks to a front that moved through yesterday - the same one that Marty mentioned.

Currently 73 degrees and clear blue skies!

I'm going for a bike ride!!!

Snowed yesterday morning - maybe 33F so I doubt we lost any apricots or apples...

75F forecast today. Rocky mountain life is... rocky.

First of May. We will know at midnight if the Writer's Guild strikes. I'm sure they will, I'll have a bit of leisure time on my hands...

At the beginning of every month I take a picture from my Innuit calendar and send it to a friend of mine. This is May's art:

I saw that on the evening news....are you a member of the Guild?
(I know some unions/groups include all related branches.)

IATSE 44 here in LA. Writers, directors and actors union contracts are all up for renewal. Hopefully it's not too long of a forced vacation.
