06 sienna limited van question again
Wife's van took a dump few days ago only to discovered that it was a 15.00 plastic bushing in the shifting link had gone bad. Shifted the transmission by hand under the radiator, drove home. He's the million dollar question. I has the lower dash all out to get at bushing. I was able to drive it to the back of the house. Today, I reassembled everything only to discovered there's no electric power. Lights, power door locks and everything has been disabled. I disconnected all the plugs behind the lower dash, but marked them carefully. Turn the key and there's nothing, not a click. Battery is less then a year old, so it is good. Is there a override switch somewhere or if the car is disconnected it goes into disconnected battery mode to protect itself? I am beating myself against the wall trying to look for this switch or ways to turn it back on.

Where is the immobilizer on this van? Did you reconnect it?

The receiver isn't good on it so it hasn't worked for couple years.

Damn, Bob, you are correct again. I thought about it all night going through all the steps in my head. This morning, I stuck a charger on to see if the head lights would come on. It did, after 5 min of pumping high voltage through it, it started. It was left charging for 4 hours. The battery just would hold a charge anymore. It was only 7 months old. New battery installed, it started right up.
