Holy carp! And we all thought that Jack O was pretty amazing.
I'm not sure which is cooler, his Lotus F1 car or his GT40! Both are dream cars of mine. A home built lotus with a V8 for $10-12k. That's impressive.

The bit at the end talking about his kid having gone off of the GT40 was pretty funny. And seems totally plausible. Kids can be fickle.

Awesome and inspiring. Its no easy feat building a car like that from scratch. Takes alot of time and patience that usually runs out pretty quick for most people. I thought of doing something like that with a saab sonett III body I had. If it was a gt40 you can bet it would be done by now. Check out the Homebuild Cars page on facebook tons of mind blowing builds like this going on there.

I've now watched all 4 parts. Very cool.
It's got Porsche content. He's using a Boxster/Cayman tranny.
