Best soaker-sprinkler

Here it is...
A.M. Andrews Co.

Family owned Oregon biz. I've used 'em for years...if you use a strip type sprinkler/soaker, and spot one...buy it!

Great customer service as well. Needed a D ring to repair the fitting. Made a phone call. "All you need is a D ring? Give me your address. I'll mail some." "Great! My VISA number is..."

"I don't need that..."

I remember those or a flat product like it. I think way back they were vinyl and needed to be stored out of the sun. I'm sure the plastic has improved.

Nope, same thinner vinyl...so you don't want to leave them in the sun with water in them...water gets hot, ballooning the vinyl. So, if you shut them off, pick them up and drain. I also made the mistake of turning one off at the faucet and leaving it on the lawn, knowing I'd turn it on before the sun warmed it the next day. Some critter...dog or raccoon, had chewed the crap out of it to get to the water inside.

Even with those flaws, still functions better than the cheapies made of thicker plastic that never lays out flat...

I have found that using weed barrier u-shaped stakes will hold those black round weepers in whatever pattern you want. Turn the pressure up and they become sprinklers. I find enough in the trash that I can put a union of my own design in between any good sections.

Free stuff works for me.

I like the round black weeping soaker hose myself, mostly for watering trees
