Can you help me find this chair?
I really like the design of this Adirondack chair and would like to buy or build some. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck finding it on the Interwebs. The somewhat unique feature of this design vs most is the vertical supports behind the seat back. Thanks!

I found a bunch with supports, but not this particular chair. Most of the supports are vertical (vs this one where the support matches the angle of the seat back).
Not the chair, but close-ish https://pawleysislandhammocks.com/product/3-Piece-Sunrise-Adirondack-Chair-and-Tete-A-Tete-Set/SRAC-TETE-COMBO

A lot of what you find out there these days is going to be a plastic material made to look like wood in colors. It's heavy and supposed to stand up to the elements.

The one Stephanie posted has vertical back supports but has a better seat design.
The image in the op has all the information you need to figure out the build. If I did build one, I would add a second bolt where the back support meets the seat support/back leg. Best Les

The shape and lines of the one in the first post is nice.

Shape, lines and design are so important to visual appeal and much of what I see in the Adirondack chair category I don't like. I find this one visually appealing although not as elegant as the one in the first post.

This looks similar. I have some items from this place, very good quality (though not cheap).

^ I like that one, that mthomas posted, too. Form follows function. The one in the OP is stylish, I guess, but it doesn't look comfortable, it's just two flat surfaces, so you're sitting on a plank leaning against a plank and you have to use a pillow in the lumbar to find a comfortable position.

I find they need cushions to make them somewhat comfortable.
Folding is good for winter storage as well.

The ones that are angled back are easier on the spine, but you fall into them and can't get out easily. An additional pillow puts you in Apollo1 position so you'll need binoculars to read the paper. Plan your use accordingly. They do look good.

You are absolutely correct about the difficulty in getting out of these chairs but they sure are comfortable. Our planned use is around the fire pit on the backyard paver patio with cocktails that can be parked right on the arm rest!

I'm actually going to save some of the pics. If I ever get a wild hair, I don't think it would be that tough to make somethink like that. Which is good since that's a $1k chair.

My brother made some Adirondack chairs using old skis we had in the attic of our garage for the back...

About 10 years ago, we had an order from the architect that designed the outdoor kitchen, deck and 8 Adirondack out of the same material as the deck board, Ipe. I warned him about how it splinters over time but he didn't care because of uniformity request by the owner. Okay. They turned out to be pretty comfortable. It was a very traditional or true to its original design.
