Arrow Mother's Day this coming Sunday (reminder)

I know most of you guys and girls are already dialed in - and good on ya.

For those who are without their Mom's - I'm so sorry. Maybe you can do something for a friend's Mom, in your Mom's honor.

Get a card in the mail and there's always Amazon for delivering a gift (or gifts).

I'm lucky that mine is still alive at 99 and lives here in town. She got a huge card hand delivered today. That card was at least 1'x2'!

My best to all Mom's here and everywhere......they are special!

For my wife and mother in law

They each get one of these, and most mothers up here in PEI get the same. Others things too probably. Happy mothers day to you all.

You guys make me feel guilty. Guess I should suck it up and at least visit my mother.

Hopefully not too late to get something in the works!

I've already taken care of it for my Mom.

Please remember the one who was always there for you when you needed it!

^^^ Awesome!!!

I am very lucky in that I have a "Mothers Day Reminder, Don't Be a Loser"™ Daughter who sends me an email three weeks out and makes recommendations...very specific recommendations.

It is, like Baz's Mom, a beautiful thing.

So, I, "Lance Romance", got Bec a Bauer Hand Held One Gallon Battery Sprayer (caps make it more romantic) from another thread about tools.

My daughter suggested specific ear-rings they both looked at when Bec was in Charleston last year. I don't have time for that crap.

Thanks Baz for the reminder.

Got my mum a starter Bonzai (tree in a box). I have to work but planning on pulling a lunch hour visit to deliver it. Took Mrs. Bugs to see Andrea Bochelli last night.

My Mom has dementia and lives in a memory care unit.

Yesterday my sister took her out for a walk, to Wendy's for a Frosty, card and flowers. I talked to my Mom a few hours later. She didn't remember 98% of it. She said "I think I went for a walk with someone, not sure who"

I will take her to church today and home for brunch. She won't remember that in a few hours.

Talk about living for the moment.

Well, my Great Grandfather at 96 was asked how he could remember stuff from way, way back, but couldn't remember something from this morning.

On Sunday I stopped at our local grocery store to get milk for my wife.

The man in front of me checking out had two dozen eggs, a large pack of thick cut bacon, a can of cinnamon rolls, and shredded cheese. I said it looks like breakfast at home for your wife. He replied his kids are cooking breakfast for mom, and he just wants to help make sure they don't burn the house down, and destroy the kitchen. I suspect mom will have some clean up duty.

Sounds like a great service! How do I get my email added to her list?
