I'll have to check that video out later when I'm not working. I find stuff like this fascinating. It's like some of the carved quartz crystal items that have been found where they say "they shouldn't have had the tools to create this back then"

This was the one that I watched.
The main point they were emphasizing was that they had to have modern tools back then. They also were thinking that there were civilizations before the ones we know about and they had modern tools. You can't make something like this with a rock chisel.
They also discovered that the metric system was used. To make a meter you need to know the circumference of the earth and divide it my 40 million. This means they had the capability to measure the earth.
Everything is hypothetical, but a fascinating video to watch.

Just as awesome as the first one, but in this one they discuss the Barabar Caves in India at about 12 minutes in. Then again at 53:50.
These caves were carved in solid rock as hard as granite using just hand tools, and are perfectly symmetrical.

I watched ^that^ one, and it had some cool tidbits in it, but it didn't go into as much detail as I'd have liked.

I learned some new stuff that I hadn't previously heard.

Then I watched the one below which was much better (2:18), I thought, although it did get into some more "out there" theories, here and there.

Yep. The Egyptian pyramids were built with stone age technology.

"Yabba-dabba-doo!"

I was watching a show on Tubi or Freevee and they had 5, 10, 15 ton blocks that claimed had evidence of being cast on site. This actually made a lot of sense when looking at the precision gaps between slabs that were consistent slab after slab after slab. The slabs were almost too smooth than which occurs in nature, reflected materials from a quarry miles away but the final blocks were sligthly different in composition.

Was described as similar to aerated concrete but much more dense. Edges were rounded and appeared like dough that had risen.

The Egyptions possibly used graduated ramps but the higher you go the thinner the theory gets with giant multi-sided triangles.

As Maverick stated "one of lifes mysteries".

That video above has similar blocks with high precision for masonry.

Yup, seen that one before.
First 5 minutes should get everybody saying hmmmm

Paraphrasing:
Instead of a single cradle of civilization, there were at least 6 different places that experienced an explosion of technology including agriculture, architecture, math and cosmology. All similar styles at about the same time.
-China
-Iraq/Turkey
-India
-Peru
-UK
-Egypt

Not to mention all the structures they are finding below sea level down to ~400 feet which have advanced architecture dating back AT LEAST 10k years.

Fascinating stuff.

I think this seems like the perfect thread for this video. I've seen some videos about the sage wall recently, but then the desertdrifter did one, and I like his stuff.

The fact that a magnet sticks to the stone in this wall is also interesting.

THis seems like a good place for this. This is something that I'd never seen before, and pretty cool.

Looks like the black soil riddle has finally been solved.

Absolutely. Seemed like a super nice guy and young husband. I guess the bright side is that I don't think he left his wife with kids to deal with on her own.

That guy looks like Wolverine's first cousin, so if he's immortal he may know ;-)
Anyway, I like the idea that in 100K years there'd be almost nothing left of our civilization (metal, rubble, plastics), so it's not crazy to think we are missing out on a large chunk of history. Apparently modern humans were anatomically/brain wise +/-identical for 500K years and we only "exploded" as modern civilizations in the last 10000 ? seems unlikely... Plate tectonics/sea levels/erosion may hide a lot from us, if anything global warning may reveal some cool ruins under the melting ice !

Yep, at one point the Mediterranean was a valley below sea level until the "dam" between Europe and Africa breached and filled essentially separating the two. Also, I believe evidence of fairly large settlements have been found off, I think, the east coast of the UK that are now under water.

There's lots of stuff that we can't explain these days that was done by past civilizations. There's no reason to think that there weren't civilizations before that that did stuff that has been erased and/or hidden by time.

Greg Braden has a few really interesting videos.
Highly recommend searching on YouTube.

The Amazon is fascinating.
The Lidar scans are revealing stuff that most people won't believe.
Too scared to take the red pill.

We are currently in the age of enlightenment.
The stuff that's going to be revealed is mind blowing.
I've been priming you guys but there is soooo much more.
Controlled reincarnation? Oh my!!

Fascinating!

I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibility that there were advanced civilizations in the past. 50,000 years from now, there will be no evidence that NYC existed if we abandon it today.
