Every Friday at my freshman year at college was BYOB to lunch and dinner. The cafeteria provided the mixers and food....but the students had to bring their own alcohol for the mix.

By 8pm the cafeteria was a shambles. Tuition money well spent. :D

Hammock length + 1ft looks to be the standard droop...

Definitely get spreader bars unless you usually plan to sleep in it outside only .
(YMMV. cCmping out)

I would worry more about ground level placement, base leg spread, and strength of the materials.
(usually the basic untested with hardware which will rust within 5 years)

You can weld or add bolt plates with Grade-8 or outside rated coatings.
