I got one for some State Farm life insurance settlement. $920, that was a surprise. Glad I didn't toss it, check is only good for 180 days. Guess they figure a lot of people will think it's junk mail.

Last year, I received a $700 check for each car that I had insured thru State Farm.
It was for over-payment of catastrophic claims insurance.

Wow, you guys cleaned up. I was happy to get anything more than the $2 I got a couple times back in the 80s.

Mrs. Bugs got one for just over $1000.00 and I got one for a hair under $800.00 from State Farm too.
They will both go towards the 68 912’s transmission overhaul we plan to pick up from the gear shop next week. Win win for us, lol

That was a total Suprise too, and welcome since the build ran close to 5K, which we were not expecting. Came in the heals of the 78 SC transmission too.

Now if the CalPers LTC class action ever comes through, that would be a bonus…. LOL, like I will EVER see that case settle. It’s only been so long that the fist CALS expired and was rolled into another. That’s just dang funny, I don’t care who y’all are, just damn funny.

Looks like State Farm is one to avoid.

Years ago I received several checks for thousands each. They were spaced apart by about 5-7 months, IIRC.

I think they were refunds from being over-charged by my homeowner's insurance.

I dropped that policy when I paid the house off and haven't missed it one bit.

I never expected to even get the settlements. Yahoo tried to avoid paying I think using some kind of loophole. I recall having to fill out some BS form after the initial application. The $61 check was a nice surprise. The Porsche settlement I did not expect to get because I was the 3rd owner. I am guessing the first two never applied for the settlement. Anyway it never hurts to spend a few minutes filling out the app.

I got one from a class action on the POS Volvo XC90 transmission. Around $800. What should have been one of the best cars we've ever owned was actually one of the worst and this transmission problem was only part of it.

My son just got a class action check for 68 cents last week. Not sure origin but honestly, it cost them more than 68 cents just to cut the check and mail it.

I got one for $3.24 from ATT class action suit a few weeks ago. And I spent it all at one place!

I think eBay sent me 50 cents 10 years ago. What's that with interest now? I threw it away.
