Camping on the Northern CA coast is fantastic
This is the place to beat the heat in Northern CA. It was about 110 in Sacramento but here on the Sonoma Coast it’s only 61 high. Beautiful views too!

It is hard to beat the coast of California for nice place to visit.
I went camping recently. I stayed at a 100+ year old hotel in Magdalena , NM. The Air Conditioner was wonderful, but there was no TV at all, and very slow WiFi, and no restaurant of any sort. I had to go to a local gas station and get a breakfast burrito to nuke in the microwave for breakfast, so it met my definition of camping. It was very quiet and comfortable as a camping site.

Damn man, this guys has lots of trucks
![]() Hey, what are you complaining 'bout. Its always 73 degrees in SF. You aren't in Sac are ya? My childhood friend moved to Roseville after architectural school in SLO and hated it ever since he arrived in Roseville but grown roots there. He claims its like Texas, burn to death in summer, freeze to death in the winter. |

Anything from Santa Barbara is alright with me. Less crowds, slower pace and in general, people are still your typical lay back Californian just like they were when I was a kid.

I live steps from a northern CA beach (Half Moon Bay). So, no need for an airstream. Oh, and it's currently 64 degrees.
