Prime truck just stopped and dropped off a package.

I heard the truck pull in and went to the front door. Just as I opened the door, I saw a young fit blonde gal driver with tight shorts and a vest dropping a package on my front steps.

I shut the door because she was taking a pic of the delivery. She said "Sorry, I just need to take a pic of your package"

I wanted to further help her out, but she was gone in less than a minute.:)

At work, the receptionist would send you an email if a delivery was dropped off for you.

I got one one day and all the email said was “you have a large package” I’m sure she didn’t realize the double entendre!

The guy drivers never leave as fast as the gal drivers do.

Maybe the gals don't appreciate the opportunity. :D

No...I have Nest cameras that catch the 'front door traffic'...but they don't record it.
I haven't seen the need for that....until now.

Next time I will ask her to come inside and sign some papers for a release. :D

The Prime drivers here are mostly out of Detroit...a three hour drive away.

Every one of them that have been here are great examples of their company...very nice people.

i had an amazon delivery too. big fat guy jumps off truck and comes waking up my driveway and i say “hey what are you doing…:.you don’t see the cones and new driveway sealant?” i say i just had the driveway sealed a few hours ago and your walking on it. he looks and sees cones and says “my bad” and continues to walk up the driveway to the door. he leaves and i notice the package is not mine. this is par for the course with just about everything and everybody these days in my world

oh, he walked back to the truck on the driveway too. eyes on his device the entire time. strange times

My driveway is a circular one.
A couple years ago i told the Prime driver that I would rather have them not use the circular one because of the truck ripping off the asphalt on the turn.
Since that time...they stop on the road, instead of my drive....much appreciated.

Overall...my experience with Prime Drivers has been excellent.
Very friendly and always have the time to talk with me when I'm around.

I have a small sign above my door bell that says ‘do not ring door bell or knock on door” because I work from home and am usually attending a court proceeding or deposition etc via zoom type meetings and the door bell makes my dogs go crazy and I can not have that going on. Yesterday the bell rings and I run out to yell at the person and it’s the Amazon guy dropping off something. My UPS guy does it too and I’m convinced he is doing it on purpose…..

When I was a kid my bedroom had ziggy wallpaper with all these scenarios where ziggy was being crapped on by a bird or some small catastrophe. I look back and think how my own life has mirrored what poor ziggy had to endure. I’m trying to stay positive :-)

Same here, although since we moved to the country, we no longer get Prime delivery folks. But our UPS and USPS folks are great. FedEx seems decent too, but we hardly ever get anything through them.

Find the doorbell and install an on/off switch.

^^^ Good idea....prob not that tough of a job to do either.

The hardest part would be remembering to turn it back on.
