Watch live as a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta 4 Heavy rocket flies for the final time Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled for 2:03 p.m. EDT (1803 UTC) on Thursday, March 28. The three-core liquid hydrogen fueled rocket is carrying a top secret payload for the U.S. military's spy satellite agency, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

Our live coverage from Cape Canaveral, with commentary by Will Robinson-Smith, will begin about 90 minutes prior to launch. It will be the 16th launch for the Delta IV Heavy rocket.

Not sure if weather will allow this one to fly today but we'll see........

That may or may not be a show. Sunset here is 7:11 pm. There may be just enough light over the horizon to backlight that.

Space X reported it as now 8:30 pm Pacific Time. I'd been sitting on my front patio waiting, googled it and saw the change.

Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with 23 Starlink internet relay satellites. Liftoff from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled for 6:17 p.m. EDT (2217 UTC) on Tuesday, Apr. 23. The first-stage booster making its ninth flight will land on SpaceX's drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions', stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, about eight and a half minutes into the flight.

The mission, designated Starlink 6-53, will be the 28th launch of Starlink satellites and the 41st flight of a Falcon 9 rocket this year.

Commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith, starting approximately an hour prior to liftoff.

That was cool This was the 300th time a SpaceX Falcon 9 booster has successfully landed on a drone ship or land!

I LOVE watching those booster landings!

They are like flying Pencils.
Yaw, pitch & roll with some serious calculus to make it happen.
