I had a friend who lived in intractable back pain. After about a decade of trying to find something to alleviate the pain he killed himself. I think a 45 year old man who cries every day from physical pain should be excused from thinking about the emotional pain of his family. As far as I know his family understood. Rest (finally) in Peace Russell.
