Just what you see pal...

A tire changer. Thinking of getting back into racing, it still might not pay for itself, but it would make life easier.

A spin balancer too.
Gotta have both.

Those are a must have in any toolbox!

The trick is to find one with good bits. The 30 year old ones i had were worn and chipped. I bought a few different brands of new ones and they broke pretty much first try. Might have to pony up for some snap-ons or something.

I could use a plasma cutter. I have one i got for free but havnt been able to get it to work. I also want a beverly shear. I have a cheap woodward fab one but it only cuts straight and its pretty worn out at this point. Also wish i had more pullers for various jobs. I have a bunch of 3 and 2 jaw that usually get me by but I could use more specialty ones . And an english wheel, the knowledge to use it, and a place to put it. A bigger shop would be nice.

Last week I used my battery impact gun and broke off the point of a Phillips driver in the screw. The tip was impossible to remove and too hard to drill through. Out with the grinder. FML.

An air die grinder would be nice too...with some stones and some carbide burrs.

I was repairing a small bit of damage
on a window sill last year.
I figured an oscillating tool would be perfect
for that job so I finally broke down and bought one
(3 Amp Variable-Speed Oscillating Multi-Tool).

First impression was this is slick!
How did I get by so long without one of these?

Funny that I haven't touched it since.

I can only think of one thing better than a lathe and that's a friend with a lathe.

I need an impact driver tool. The kind you hit with a hammer to get the stuck phillips head bolt out of rotor...

Like Flipper said, this is a standard tool. Seriously. Get one.

I'd like to have a two-post lift, but the ceiling in my garage is only about 8 feet and the garage door is in the way.

And a milling machine.

I have access to one but if I did not the first on the list is a blue tip wrench.

After seeing that awesome post from Tobra I'll maybe close early today.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/freak.gif

I did a good score with my plasma cutter. I was at our local Bunnings (like Home Depot) and in the tools department sign said "Arc Welder $50 New but we have lost the box and manual". It didn't worry me, the fact that it was actually new plasma cutter :)
