Martin Scorcese gave us this beautiful outro. That last bit is so beautifully staged, lighted, and shot that it could be a painting in a museum <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pi-SnEiRs-A" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

The harp guitar Robbie's playing is... interesting. Those things are strange, but have a following. |

Robbie's autobiography is interesting and gives a good chronology of how they came to be and who they worked with. They existed at a time in music history that will never be repeated. The musician's of the day knew each other, collaborated, fought with each other, screwed each other...... No doubt he sought out fame in a way the others in the Band didn't, but they wouldn't have achieved what they did without him. RIP. |

Catch a cannonball now to take me down the line. My bag is sinkin' low and I do believe it's time to get back to Miss Fanny you know she's the only one who sent me here with her regards for everyone... Rest In Peace Robbie Robertson. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

My best Band memory took place in the old Capitol theater in Passaic NJ. I was there to see Dave Mason. After his first set he took 5 came back out sat in front of the mic and said " I brought some friends with me to help out for the rest of the show. I hope you don't mind". The curtain behind him opened and there was The Band! We totally lost our minds. |

So interesting that the 'Fued' between Levon and him was over money / music rights and royalties. Apparantly, Robbie owned most of those, the rest of the band were paid small %'s. Seems that when that well went almost dry, Levon had not much other income stream. Almost lost his farm on several occasions due to back taxes and later, medical bills. Dunno....... |
