The Matrix screenwriters used my life as the basis for the red pill. To that end, I was in MicroCenter today and looked at a Mac and 2 PCs.

All 3 gave me the same screens so the chip must still be working which sucks after all that blood and work to get it out. Using the AMC app on my phone also sucks especially since I have screenshots of each of the 18 theaters with best seats in each highlighted. Hard to do on the phone.

Edit: I have a solution. Give me your credit card info and showtimes, and I'll buy tkts for you. Minimal service charge... say $10 per?

Works fine in both Firefox (ESR) and Chrome on my Linux desktop. Blocked access to knowing my location in both cases.

Check to be sure you aren't running thru a VPN or something similar that may look "fishy" on their end

Ha! Harder than you think since you'll have to look at my 18 screenshots every time to determine the best seat. For IMAX, M17 should have my name on the seat, pretty sure I sit in it 30 times a year.

But no CC needed, you just have to log in as me, I have the A List plan where I can see 3 movies a week every week for $25month. One IMAX is $23 so it's a good plan. :)

Thanks Steve, no VPN here but I have been able to see AMC seating, etc. in Portland, OR a few months prior to this. It really is the strangest thing that MicroCenter gives me the same results as does iPhone on roaming.

It must be the chip. Has to be.

My sister booked 2 Tix for a 4 pm showing of American Graffiti a few days ago. Went to look at how full it would be and it was said to be sold out. At show time we were the only two in the theater!

Just checked again and it actually works! Seeing the Incredibles from 2004 Friday night!
