I like it. Going in a few weeks. Really having clean teeth feels good.

I go twice a year, and I like the results, but getting there can be a PITA. Feels like the hygienist likes to scrape and probe under all of my gums. I’ve got a few sensitive teeth and the pucker factor is high when she works on them.

I was sent from my dentist to a dental specialist that did gum planing on me.
They freeze it up good and scrape the base of the tooth below the gum line.

It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't want to have it done again.

^^^ It was a young gal (25?) that did mine...blonde, thin and tall.
I remember her saying that she worked two jobs...the dental office and as a physical trainer. :)

After a cleaning I don't usually feel different than I do after I've brushed my teeth. Cleanings are no big deal. But then I don't accumulate plaque or tartar or whatever it's called. Apparently, that's a bit of a genetic thing. Some folks can require a debridement if they get cleaned every year. I once went 15-20 years and didn't require a debridement and only a little bit of scraping, mostly on the front lower teeth where I've been told the deposits are usually the heaviest.

As long as does not ask me, "Is it safe?" in a German accent before he goes to work, no worries

Teeth are the only problem that will go away if you ignore them.
