Ohio teen drives 100 MPH for murder suicide attempt

Watch this whole thing... it should warn young guys off "crazy/hot girls who wear long fake eyelashes" (see her social media post). Tell your sons and nephews.

Okay, I'm partially joking, but I do wonder why she wanted to end it all... plus her boyfriend. She got life in prison.

The results of mental manipulation from social media platforms.

You wonder why some countries ban this shiat?

There is a mental health crisis in the united states that nobody is addressing and talking about it.

Sad, clearly the girl has issues. Not least among them is drug use which may have played a factor. When someone commits or makes a serious attempt at suicide, most of us don't/can't understand what they were thinking as it's not normally a rational decision that a normal person would make.

It's a tragedy for all involved including the girl.

It's absolutely being talked about, (for reference, I present the homeless crisis as only one example). Not nearly enough is being done to combat the issue. The same can be said for a lot of problems that are spiraling out of our control. Lots of talk. No action.

You never know, there are folks that come from great homes that commit suicide and/or get into drugs. There are also folks from horrible homes that do not go bad and end up being highly productive, positive members of society. While parenting and home life CAN cause issues, they may also not be involved in someone ending up good or bad.

I don't buy that "parenting" "bad parenting" fault excuse anymore. Unless there are no parents.
There's basic bad seeds, drugs, alcohol, poor choices of friends and peers, the internet & social media... So many external influences when kids are impressionable..

It's just a sad story all around.

I agree, but what happened to the days of "get you s#it together". Lots of people today look for a reason and do not accept responsibility for their actions.

As a kid growing up 60's/70's in a rural area, I saw all kinds of good home / bad home environments from all kinds of economic backgrounds. There was no common denominator as to why 1 ran off the rails, and others did not. At some point young adults will choose to go with what drives them at that moment. Also their brains have not matured and coupled with raging hormones (with both sexes) is and always has been, a volatile mix.

Now: add social media where everyone acts out behind a keypad, instead of in person, in real life like it used be where consequences would be immediate before escalating ever higher. I believe young girls (pre-teen / early teens) are especially at risk

I'm left wondering why this story even needs any amplification...there is nothing new or current about it. There were ugly, stupid young women in the 1950s, (and the 1850s), who were murderous. Just bad breeding, nothing else.

I think lots of kids have had the "get your sheiße together" talk followed by a kick in the arse that didn't, both in the past and today. I don't think that's terribly effective in many cases. Some cases, sure, but not all.

Exactly. I think a lot of folks attribute to nurture that which could/should mostly be attributed to nature.

Yes, there are kids that dabble on the dangerous road, but then get their sheiße together before things become irreversible. There are some that never do.

Agree with speeder. This POS woman (she will be in short order) is not even grossley neurotic. She's psychotic in ways no one will ever understand. There is nothing anyone can do for her, IMO.

She should die.

She was suicidal. She's mentally ill. She also posted on social media about doing drugs. It's a real shame that she took 2 other folks out when she tried to take herself out and didn't manage to accomplish her goal.

I think taking 2 others out is the difference. The judge called it murder and I agree. IDK what murder charge she is serving life for, but I don't have any sympathy for lifers. That's a death penalty in its own right. Again, IDK if parole was on the table, but life w/o the possibility of parole is a death sentence. Why prolong that?

That's not all. I do know that up to 10% of murder charges are reversed. Anyone convicted on circumstantial evidence might not be guilty. I'm talking about irrefutable evidence such as multiple eye witnesses and physical evidence. This woman qualifies.

One of many prongs of the global attack on the US.

THAT’S what nobody’s talking about.

Social media allows people to lead two or more lives. She can seem to lead a perfectly normal home life, and turn into a different girl when she closes her bedroom door and turns on the camera.

I saw it the moment she walked in and the video started. Just go back and look at her face and demeanor as she walks up to the table. You can see in her face and body language that she is a train wreck and thinks herself above it all, rules don't apply, etc.

I deal with people like this all the time. Not to hard to spot if you take a second to look.

She's going to be a peach when she gets out of prison. Although she will probably take some beatings from Big Madge, she won't change. It wouldn't surprise me if she re-offends.

She planned it, and selected the area beforehand. Two counts of 1st degree premeditated murder .... she should die or never be released into society.... ever.
