This one is also funny with my legs sticking out. The ball is actually quite large in there - just a tiny bit smaller than my college dorm room!

Nope. It's your dog, Wayne, but that thing is out of scale with the rest of a fine looking shop. I predict you'll tire of it and move it out someday.
You mentioned size relative to your dorm. It would make a cool escape place with all kinds of electronics. Let your imagination take over. With some sound and curved screens you could be anywhere doing anything. Anything. Fun fact, the 76 balls at Talladega Speedway, which are no more, used to be used by NASCAR officials to observe the race on the back straight as it was so far away from the scoring tower on the front side of the track and facing only the dog leg. They needed the guy(s) in the ball to call for a yellow flag if there was a wreck from T-2 to T-3, which there often was. I have talked with some that knew those assigned that job. It was hellish hot in there. They looked out of a screen that was painted orange to mostly conceal the window. It has been replaced with an open and shaded elevated observation deck. |

We tucked it off to the side so it doesn't quite look so gargantuan in real life!

G'day!

![]() That looks fantastic, Wayne! Perfect, in fact. In landscape design we use the phrase "focal point" to indicate where the eye goes first in a landscape. I think you have achieved just that, sir. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride...as short as it was....it was quite sweet! ![]()
