Hey I resemble that remark. Does that mean I can be in the club. My car was faound that way, and with the 2.7 I never did feel part of the long hood group.

Requesting membership #074, sirs.
I promise,(right hand over heart), to replace all era correct parts on my 70T with the latest aftermarket goodies I can afford.
I promise to replace items that would keep my p-car quiet in the presence of offending rice vehicles.
And I soley promise to engage in routine competition within "outlaw" classes.
Please accept my humble application.
Carl (#074?)

Oops didn't read all the post carefully to see that there was already a #9. How about Agent 99 or 099. That's more my speed.

This is great. I always wondered what the midyear guys were gonna do. I guess this it it....ehhh?

If you guys get around to having any sort of yearly get together has anyone considered a bonfire fueled by old thermo-reactors?

Blasphemy I tell you... The very reason we have formed this powerful alliance. Blasphemy that you would tear down any air cooled 6 car to roll off the lines. I ask you sir would you make shame in a brother or sister who had freckles or perhaps had bad teeth.. I think not. Though troubled as some of the mid year cars may be..they are still Porsches!!!!! It is because of your pias attitude towards those who may not drive "your" car that we have come to conquer!!! Be ready to meet your maker sir!!!

P.S. You guys do have cool stickers... he he

We WILL have cool stickers TOO! Just wait! Number 3 is working on it.

As for our annual meeting at the Round Table...we'll be burning all the crap we stripped off our cars that is not critical for going fast! Stickers make car go fast yes, No. 1?

Wait till you see the pictures of the virgin we plan to sacrifice....an original RS America with very little miles

An none of this rush to make a deadline for the R Guppie swim meet thing..no way my good man, we ride what will run! And with factory issued rope, factory coat hanger, or a Harbor Freight econo welder..our cars will run!...

ROFL!! I burst out laughing when I saw "A place for 2.7 turbo-bodied cabs etc" and none of my co-workers got it at all. They think I'm nuts. Thanks for the laugh, Shawn!

Numbers are growing... we need a website, bad!
