Beep Beep!

Nice job. This thing is coming together really well. I can't believe the amount of time and energy people have put into this thing.

Thanks

Troy

John,
Be careful what you wish for...it just may come true.
BTW I am following your lead and have placed a Porsche hood badge on my F250 Beater!

I now make my noble intention known..the Bastard will undergo transformation in order to infiltrate the RGuppie camp. My beloved steed will be kept from the battlefield for an undetermined amount of time and occupy a stall at the blacksmith for a BACKDATE!

Yes my fellow knights, tis a horrible thing I must do to my mid-year chariot, but I do so with the truest intention and in the name of our cause. Tis the truest path of hotrod passion.

Post backdate, I shall sneak out under the cover of night and attempt to blend into the RGuppie camp...once seeded deeply in the camp, I shall destroy the the enemy from within..if I should fail, I am requesting that my fellow knights tend to my land and cottage...provide ration to my surfs and set them free for their master will not return...

Souk,
Wicked Bad! Will it be done in time for the Benefit carshow? You know you wanna go to that. A guy at our DE won the carshow with a backdated 1984 911. It looked more like a '73 than my car!

I hope it will be done by then and a trip to Austin's car show is not entirely out of the question. If I can get my personal blacksmith, No. 15, to work on my flares soon, it'll just be a matter of paint..which I will attempt to do most of myself..with help from my blacksmith.

..if you want to see what it will look like, look at the old pictures of Jack's BB1. The last piece I need will be ordered soon if I can't find a used piece, an RS rear bumper. I have despersed my surfs throughout the land to find a bumper for my steed..they ride through e-bay listings and classifieds to satisfy their master..I shall reward them with a feast of roasted swine and barrels of Guinness.

RS rear with C2 motorized lid/spoiler, S front...Black with silver Carrera scipt courtesy of Mike Z, with chromed hardware here and there...

I'm going to try and stop by a local trucking company to weight the car before the transformation to see what the weight difference is.

Wish me luck my fellow warriors, I am ready for more punishment and strain on my relationship with the Dutchess.

Fair well,

Duke Souk

Outstanding Sir Souk! As I am too in the process of converting the '76 into a long hooded, wide bodied mid year Bast@rd. The only thing I am struggling with is color. Black or Silver. I have red interior so Im thinkin silver might be the way to go. I would love to see a picture of a silver 73 RSR with maybe a grey Carrera Script so that it doesnt leap out as loudly as a black script would. More stealthy. Can anybody do that??

John, I have struggled for months to decide on Black or Silver. My car was originally silver, but I don't like the vintage 936 silver. It is not reflective enough to show the curves and bulges of the 911. I know black will be a PIA to maintain, but I am anal enough to handle it I think. And I have always wanted a Black 911.

Good luck with your backdate..we will ride onto the field of battle with our heads held high for we know the true meaning of hotrodding! .. WUF WUF!

Here is a pic of the 1984 911 backdated.

John,
Silver with red interior is my FAV! I was thinking about maroon scripts on the red queen. Sneaky...

John, since you have a red interior, how about GP White with red Carrera decals and red centered Fuchs?

Ive thought about that Jim ..... but I wanted something a little different, after all my car is a B@st@rd. LOL I went to a car show this weekend in Eureka Springs and saw a beautiful silver car with red interior and it was striking. The key is finding the right "shade" of silver.

Then might I suggest Viper Green for the exterior?

Hey...I'm not on the list...snif sniff.....being a rogue...I am against the numbers game...therefore I have chosen the title "Inquisitor" but if you must persist in the conformists confidence game than I suppose #0 will do....

OK, so let me get this straight. There are the following organizations besides Gruppe B:

SCWDP
HP Junkies
MFIWDP
RGruppe

Didst I miss any?

Fellow knights, which of these varlets be our arch-nemeses? Whither shouldst we aim our slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune?

Sir Blue, I would say that the RGuppies are the foulest of all our foes.
