I think he's saying he's had enough.

Troy, are you coming to the Round-up?

I'd like to see that Silver Anniversary Model.

Troy,
You really should try to think of "other" things when you're in bed at night.

Island,

I want to. I just doubt I could keep up with the gang (jokes). I don't think I can make it because my wife is teaching at Southern Oregon U this summer. I have daddy duties. Plus, if the Porsche gods smile on me, I will be temporarily Porsche-less.

As far as thinking of other things at night Doug! You are right. These darn Porsches have caused me to lose more sleep than even my kids. That's what obsessions will do to you.

Count me in.

from an old poster that featured the original 959 prototype

this was the script that was in the license plate area on the final 959 prototype

What a great name with a great history. It fits so well too. Porsche took something that was already very good, and made it so much better by applying innovation, and the best available technology.

Ok, I too, have just finally read through this thread. I'll cast my hat into the ring and politely request Gruppe B #011 for my 2.7, Carrera-decal'd, Monty-loudened, lowered, wanna-be hotrod.

Here's an older picture of mine. No real changes except for what is under the hood.

Hey thanks, Souk.

Feels good to finally "belong". I feel like the red-headed stepchild, finally being let out of the closet under the stairs...

Now we need our own T-shirt!

[edit]Great looking car, Troy. Why are you selling it? Is another 911 on the horizon?

Now JTO's looks good. Mine only looks good when I avoid the hood, roof, and right side! But who the hell cares what the paint looks like, as long as it is doing this!

Hey Mike..if it weren't for my excellent behind the lense skills and Photoshop, my car would be scarier than your car..but hey..that's the Gruppe B attitude...start on the inside and let them wonder what just dusted them..

...If there is enough interest, I'll get my shirt printer to give me a quote on Gruppe B shirts..(I just can't get enough punishment..yes sir! give me more! )

Thanks Adam. IT IS a pretty car, especially riping down the road on a sunny day. It sounds awesome with the SSIs and GHL. I have spent too much time and money on the car already. I don't drive it as much as work on it. I guess I want to drive more than I want to restore right now. If the thing doesn't sell in 30 days, maybe I'll keep it and keep pecking away at it.

Thanks,

Troy

Great looking mid years! Great color Adam, if mine wasn't silver to begin with it would be yellow or red. Us mid years got to stick together, seems like we get hammered by earlys , SC's & carreras
