We do have some standards rs911t, that thing is...well what was that guy smoking?!

DByers 06-18-2003 01:23 PM

Greg, You need to update your website. Just cant get enough of your car.
Oh yeah, STILL NOT WORKING.

This is along the lines of what we stand for!:D

island911 06-18-2003 01:26 PM

monstrosity

Either the r-gruppie "rs911t" doesn't know a 911 when he see's one, OR, he's trying to give Gruppe B a ride into the weeds.

uninformed or threatened by Gruppe B . . .

I'll let you decide. ;)

johncj8989 06-18-2003 01:37 PM

Sweet rendering K9! And Island continues to hit it righ on the mark. "I feel the conflict within him" he wants to be a part of GRuppe B!

Mr9146 06-18-2003 01:41 PM

Hey K9, so you're telling me that Gruppe B(ull $hi+) stands for pencil drawings of 911s with blown out suspension?:D

Figures, you Gruppe B people would probably put Gold Daytons on your P-car if the bolt pattern was the same ...:p

And anyway, with all this talk about stickers and random number assignments, I wonder what kind of STRUCTURE this imitation club is going to have? Anyone given any thought to membership dues to pay for your precious stickers and t-shirts?

Huh, amateurs.

Mr9146 06-18-2003 01:43 PM

Actually, it's a really good picture but I have to say something nasty to retain the R Gruppe image ... you know.

k9handler 06-18-2003 01:45 PM

it sure is!

I would even draw up a nice 914 if I could find one...still looking.

k9handler 06-18-2003 01:47 PM

we are willing to overlook your remarks since you are just doing your part to keep this thread going strong...and we thank you for that. Ha Ha

jstgermaine 06-18-2003 01:49 PM

Structure? STRUCTURE?

Whoops...lost that thought....

island911 06-18-2003 01:50 PM

Skoda Rapid . . that's it! A product of the soviet Czechoslovakia.

Which leads to the other answer: r-gruppie "rs911t" is threatened by Gruppe B. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/icon_rofl.gif

Dude, you labled the pict "skoda"

Huh, amateurs.

jstgermaine 06-18-2003 01:52 PM

Gruppe B members...

I need pics and bios....pm me for the email address.

johncj8989 06-18-2003 01:55 PM

I encourage more R'ers to come out of the closet like Mr914. At least he has the gonads to speak his mind even though he shows that he definatley doesnt get it yet. This is a grass roots organization, structure is coming. As for the random number thing, big freekin deal. Better to have random numbers than be judged by the order of your number.

thrown_hammer 06-18-2003 01:55 PM

Structure??? Chaos Theory Baby!!!

724doorE 06-18-2003 01:57 PM

So, I assume those of us with rust are welcome as well ;)

you guys might want to go by #001 & #002. (just a friendly suggestion from Dr. Ev. . er'a Dr. Island. ) SmileWavy
Oh yeah, MUHAHAHAhahahaha . ..

All this talk of #2 has given me a vision for yet another group.
I haven't quite nailed it down yet, but here are the current choices:

Porsches Out Of their Prime

Porsches Out Of Power

or a couple more possitive ones:

Porsches Out On Patrol

Porsches Out Of Production

Yes, that's right it's "GRUPPE POOP", or simply "Gruppe P".

:D

Ray 911s 06-18-2003 02:21 PM

First group contest - who can name the most donor VINS that contributed to the creation of their bast*** (911 of mixed parentage)?

racea911 06-18-2003 02:24 PM

I think that some of you are understandably impressed enough with my "red beauty" to allow me the hallowed #WTF in the Gruppe B, but I feel that some of you are fence sitting. True, it will be tough for your cars to receive the attention they deserve if they are parked next to my red beauty, but can't the same be said for the poor guy in the Gullwing Mercedes parked next to the Birdcage Maserati?

There is a hierarchy in life, as there will be in the Gruppe B. It just so happens that my red beauty is the crown jewel of the Gruppe B. Petty jealousies will need to be cast aside by pretenders to my throne. The immense accolades red beauty receives are bound to spill over onto your mortal tweener cars, so this is good for everyone!

Has anyone considered the moniker Tweener Gruppe or perhaps Taint Gruppe? I will proudly declare myself King of those Gruppes also, with red beauty as my loyal steed.

All hail Gruppe B King Racea911.

If I wasn't the King, would I need all this electronic equipment? I can rule an entire kingdom from the cockpit of my red beauty.

Long live the King. Don't disrespect the King either. I am watching YOU on that monitor in my cockpit!

hmmm..just have to find those darn adapters...

MotoSook 06-18-2003 02:31 PM

Random number assignment....if you R Guppies and SCWDPoopers have not figured it out, it must be working! How many of us do you think there really are...who's the amateur?

When you run into No. 999, will you think he is the last to sign up? If we assign No. 356911, you think you'll know if we truely have 356911 memebers? Run! Run! Guppies Run!

Structure is for the nose in the air gruppe who guard their elite status by attacking any gruppe that threatens their existance!

WOOF! WOOF!

Eric,,are you a secret member of the SCWDPooper?

island911 06-18-2003 02:41 PM

Eric
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/icon_rofl.gif
I think racea911 is on the throne right now. . . watch'n his monitor.

MotoSook 06-18-2003 02:49 PM

I've been given a note from a double agent (or someone sympathetic to cause, not necessary a double agent ;) )..the new battle cry will now be..

Wuf! Wuf!

:D

racea911 06-18-2003 02:49 PM

Yes Island, I am on the throne right now. It is my rightful place for owning the most tastefaullty modified 911ish car in Gruppe B.

Now please, that is King Racea911 or your royal heiness. :D

island911 06-18-2003 02:54 PM

racea, don't you mean "Royal Heinous" ?

That what that skoda is; HEINOUS! . . .nothing 911 about it. (well maybe in the eyes of an r-grupper) heh-heh
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/skoda1.jpg

johncj8989 06-18-2003 02:56 PM

How about Ruf Ruf? Oh wait that name has been taken right. Wouldnt want somebody to accuse us of plagierism again. You have entered dangerous territory racea911, claiming to be King when you are not is punishable by condemming you too "the rack" or even worse forcing you to drive a Pontiac Aztec for a month!

DByers 06-18-2003 02:57 PM

Race - Is there an espresso machine in that thing?

Eric - Does your throne have a seat warmer? Those are the best thrones!

#071 still not working (its good to be the boss)

racea911 06-18-2003 03:13 PM

Island, you got me. I was trying to spell heinous, but I hurried. I think it is in very poor taste to insult my choice of mods. Everyone of the mods to the royal steed Red Beauty has a function that goes beyond what you peasants would even understand. Red Beauty is at a whole different level and my loyal Gruppe B subjects are honored to be ruled by King Racea911.

If I wasn't the King of Gruppe B, why does it say that under my name to the left over there?

If you guys can just form a Gruppe, and steal a name, I most certainly will accept the calling from above to rule the Gruppe B kingdom. It's out of your hands peasants. It's good to be the King! Now, who wants to be the Pissboy? Oh wait, of course, that would be #1. Grab your bucket #1, and please hurry!

Now, now Island. I said I believed it contained 911 PIECES. I'm glad to hear they have standards. I was genuinely concerned someone might encounter an 2.7 abandoned on the side of the road, glue a piece or two to their Skoda then claim B Gruppe membership! If you carefully review this thread (a mighty entertaining thread I should add!) you'll see RS911T among the Gruppe's earliest supporters - the 9th post!

Thanks Dan. I can't get enough of my 911 either! Someday it'll stop raining and I'll get to drive it some more.

K9 - great drawing!

Carrera Charlie 06-18-2003 03:27 PM

What a great thread ... I'd like to register as #013 (always been a lucky number for me). I always wondered why more Porsche followers didn't see the unique benefits of these mid-year cars (especially 1974 models) ... clean lines, good power, lightweight and fun drivers! Count me in!

Regards,

BlueSkyJaunte 06-18-2003 03:32 PM

Then I get #1313. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. Can't get luckier than that. :D

If so, does that make me a "SCWDPooper Trooper"? Or, if I am considered a 3.2L infiltrator, would I be a "SCWDPooper Scooper"?

DByers-

No seat warmer, but my "throne" does have leather, 8-way power, and Sport bolsters.

:D

Here's a couple of pics of the "Rocket". A 3.0 powered 914/6. It was the AX Zone 8 champ in 1999.
