Dawgs have gotten mighty expensive .... along wif everything else ... I just got an estimate...

How expensive?
I will need a new roof in the next couple years. Mine is 23 ish years old. No leaks so far, but I’m preparing. I’d really like to get a metal roof, like a standing seam roof, that will last more or less forever. I’d also like to have mounting points for solar panels pre-installed. If we get panels, I’ll do the roof at the same time. So it is going to be $.

How many square feet and what sort of roof, new rain gutters or no? They have a nifty contraption that makes the gutters out of a roll of metal on site
1400 sq ft house was just shy of $40K A/C unit is also Reagan era vintage

Similar size house, 26 squares, ridge vents, couple of gutters removed.... I just can't tell ya ... gas is 3.21 here too
