Inversion tables .... tip of the day!

I tweaked my back last Thur wrestling a tree out of the plastic pot for planting.... knew it the second I did it too . My table has been disassembled, hanging in my garage and stored in a closet... finally struggled to get it together after daze of barely able to move ... you guys with REAL back problems have my sympathy.

After five minutes upside down last night .... it's a new week !

I still have more trees to plant tho'.... in sandrock ...

Just not today

Tip: Keep yer inversion table handy ... I wouldn't take a thousand bucks for mine right now.... not even two grand!

It actually works? It doesn't give you a head rush and make you woozy?

For me, they do actually work. The trick is to do several short sessions (less than 2 minutes) a day instead of one long session.

They don't work for everyone (bought mine 20 yrs ago from a former co-worker), but have used one (my dad had one) for 3 decades when I tweak my lower back. It happens .... my 5 year old Lab has never experienced one before ..... my face was upside down at her "lick level" last night .

Just did another 5 min .... ready to go play ball now

I just saw a video in the last week. Some woman left a part off of her new inversion table when assembling. With the part off, she was 1 home alone, and 2 unable to get the table to flip back around to upright. Fortunately for her, she had a smart watch on and was able to call emergency services using her watch to come get her down.

"Tip pf the day." Droll, very droll.

I had one that helped my lower back pain, but when this whateveritis pain ramped up in my left hip/leg it made that worse.

I bought a $150 table from a guy for $50. He said it didn't work. I pointed out to him that it wasn't assembled properly, but he was so pissed at it he sold it to me anyway.

I gave it to a guy whose wife had a kidney stone. He said the doc told her to hang upside down an inversion table. I had never heard of that.

That seems odd. I'd love to understand the reasoning behind that one.

"tip of the day"! LOL. I hadn't noticed that, but it's not surprising coming from that KC guy.

I bought one about 3 months ago. LIFE CHANGING for me! I have had severe back pain radiating into my legs from pinched nerves. Had back surgery about 12 years ago. Now when I feel that first zap of pain, I go hang for a few minutes and I am a new man.
All I can say is it was the best $300 I have ever spent. (Didnt think to check CL)

It had something to do with dislodging or getting the stone to move to a different part of the kidney so she could pass it.

I've got Gravity Boots . They really work, but I'm not sure I want to use them unless there is someone else around the house.

My table has ankle "boots" (really comfy) with a hook on the back ... easy on/off if yer hurtin' and I don't go completely verticle.... just a nice incline.... on a "balanced" table . Mine flips & returns with minimal weight shift.... critical when you can barely move! I can see someone getting in a bind upside down.

Help me.... I've inverted and I can't get up !

Cut the plastic pots with a utility knife . Three to four slits from the bottom to the top . Peel the sides and voila the plant/bush/tree is easily released . Just curious do you wear a Dracula cape when inverted ? 😁

I was trying to salvage the pots for something... the first three pulled right out...

I usually use a utility knife and if a cape will help....

There needs to be a rope to grab and pull yourself back up. I've not seen one but thinking about it, why isn't there one?

Not that I recommend it...

I'd had a REALLY sore back for about four days. Really sore, and pain down my left leg/butt.

Then slouching at the computer, as you do, a big clunk. And my back is fine. A bit odd but I'm happy. I was tempted to try the gravity boots thing but being stuck upside down and the body not being found for three weeks put me off LOL

I don't know if they all have it....but mine has adjustable settings for your height.
I set mine and it was exactly right the first time....the balance point makes it easy to tip up or down.
Don't need a rope.
