How heavy is your eating?

I eat more than ever these days.... maybe because of the coming winter.

It would probably be better if I had Beyond Burgers instead of double beef cheeseburgers..

^^^ wow...30 is a lot...congrats!

I can do without fries....never really liked them. My weakness is the Culvers Butterburger Deluxe single patty.

I like 'em ... but only eat the center crust on top.... the edges and bottom... gone.

Tastes great ... less filling!

And I only eat ONE double cheeseburger from Steak'nShake ....

It's my healthy diet

^^^ Aww...the edges and bottom are the best parts.
Break the edges off and get them into the gravy....delicious!

When I checked into the ER almost two years ago now, I think I was at @205.
Jumped on the scales last night before getting into the shower and tipped it at 171.8 or so.
I could stand to eat a steak every now and then I think, but I've really lost my taste for them.
I think cutting out the 2 Seven-Ups per day is what really brought the pounds down.
That and riding my bike as much as possible when the weather permits too.

Of course they are! But I've learned that delicious 2nd double cheeseburger shows up on the scales too

Bike riding has been the best exercise for me also. Trouble is...in MI it's only a 8 month sport at best. I use rollers in the off season, but it's tough to enjoy those. (esp if I ride off the edge)

Do you have your weights correct? Added 66lbs.?

Sorry, I see you corrected it.

You know what Steve, I tried rollers when I first got my bike when I retired.
Just couldn't do it, the input to my brain said I should be moving and I wasn't.
Made me nauseated and sick feeling. Took 'em back to the shop the next day and they totally understood. Funny thing is, I get the same feeling trying to play race video games too.
My kids laugh at me, I can get sea sick standing on a dock.

I eat mostly decent healthyish food, just way way way way way too much of it.

I decided to try to get a bit healthier this year, and have been a semi regular at the gym. Problem is working out makes me super hungry. Feel better and a ton stronger but still too fat!

I know what you mean.
I had a hard time until someone told me to concentrate on a spot 10 feet ahead. I have fallen off the edge a few times, but never to the point of getting hurt.

Five minutes on the rollers is like an hour on the road to me. (as far as a workout)

Here's a video of when I first got the rollers....about five years back.
I was not good on them at that time.
Now I have a tv next to the rollers to watch the news while rolling.

I haven’t changed my eating habits, but with my back problems, my exercise daily has gone down to zero. I gone up from 160 to 172. I’m trying to up the distance I walk every day, but it’s been a struggle.

Dang I was 180-190lb in HS but still skinny as a rail. Could suck in my stomach in and see backbone outlines. Almost. 220lb was the midyears good weight and am working back towards that. Mostly German/Irish/Finn/Jewish Euro mutt something. I am what you call 'big boned' which helped bounce off of quite a lot of solid objects in my misspent youthful days.

Guys, this is not hard. I am a few days away from 59, 6'1" 235lbs. I am not fat, muscled up. I eat real food. Marbled Ribeyes, KC Strips, Asparagus steamed in real butter & Olive Oil. Split a backed potato with the wife. Bone in chicken breast on the grill, squash and zucchini grilled. Beans, salad, etc...Cook your own food. A few eggs in the morning on a piece of toast with some verde on it. If you are drinking soda pop, eating chit out of a bag, chips, etc... gonna be fat. High Fructose Corn Syrup, Seed Oils are poisoning you. You can google it. Learn. Half the people drink them selves fat with soda alone. Guy that purchased my company a few years back started the day with a 12 pack of diet pepsi. Yeah, he was a fat axx.
Lastly, go the gym and do some resistance training. Weight Lift. I lift heavy every week, three days a week. It only takes about 5 hours total a week. Yep it sucks some times, but I get my axx in there and do it. A pill or shot is not gonna fix it. You have to make a conscious decision not to let it go. Take a blood pressure pill, there goes your wood. Fudge it, I am going down fighting. Diet and resistance training is the way along with a little cardio. No excuses, get it on today!
