I tried a thermacell too .... worthless if you're not stationary imo, or if there is a breeze. I reckon turkeys can't smell .... what if you're after deer?

ML season opens Saturday and it is cool enough now that skeeters aren't an issue.... of course, we could always get a warm spell that will bring 'em back... butif being scentless was critical I'd wrap up in mesh to create a total barrier. My camo ghillie suit is already mesh, all I have to do is flip my face mask around....

I spray myself down with OFF before I go out to do yard work. I wear long pants and sleeves and spray my face, neck, ears, and hands. Works good and I am rarely bitten.
