Nethercutt Collection

There is a small museum in Sylmar California called the Nethercutt Collection.
An incredible collection of old cars and some other off the wall things.

I first heard of it a few years ago, although I had heard rumors about it for decades.
If you are ever in LA, it is worth a trip there to see it.
Plus, it's free.

PCA went there a few years ago and I attended. It's actually free with a reservation. They focus on what you see here, large and elegant. No sports cars that I remember.

The upstairs has a wonderful room full of knick knacks like hood ornaments from every car and a huge pipe organ.

Most impressive collection
We took the guided tour to the main building across the street from the free display
The building with the pipe organ in the post above
The cars in the main “gallery room” are valued at 100million
The duesenburg, called the $20,000 car, was featured on Jay Leno’s garage
That car alone is worth over 10 million
The docent for the tour was the head of the restoration shop, and told the story of how they rescued the pipe organ from a bowling alley in Germany.
They had to cut it into pieces to get it out, and reassembled it on site
