Brothers collection.
Not sure if this had been posted before but saw another "collection" thread and made me think of this one. Utterly crazy the amount of Muscle type cars here.

I thought this thread wuz about the Allmans or the Nevilles :D

There's a couple of Portland area brothers who got into brewpubs very early on that might have enough money for a collection like that, but their schtick, at least early on, was more deadhead than gearhead.
You never know, though. I'd like to be invited to see the collection. |
I had no idea this existed. Probably the way the owner(s?) want it. One small goof in the narrative. No tri power '67 GTO's. The tri power option was dropped in the mid '66 run...GM got into a "no racing" mode.

I didn't know about it either until a co-worker mentioned it yesterday. Seems there is a charity event on Oct 24th there. $50 a ticket to get in.

What????
I have many friends in the car world in Oregon. NEVER heard of this. Valued at $500,000,000. Not a lot of people around here with that sort of scratch. |
Found on the interweb...
"the Brothers collection, a private museum of the Milhous brothers. Just an enormous collection". https://www.osvehicle.com/where-is-the-brothers-muscle-car-collection/ |
A guy I grew up with somehow gets access to that collection and does youtube videos on individual cars. He's been doing them for years.

Evidently, they're not Oregonians.. Publications money? Just guessing..

Are those the same brothers? A lot comes back about those guys auctioning off their collection back in 2012.

↑ I'm not sure. Lots of conflicting stories on-line as I do more searching.

Who Owns The Bothers Car Collection? As registered in the state of Oregon, The Brothers Car Collection is owned by Barton Bradley Colson. As reported by Forbes Magazine, the Colson family made their fortune by providing retirement communities across the U.S. and Canada. It was founded in 1971 by Hugh Colson, who passed away in 2007 and left control of the company to Bonnie Colson and their sons, Barton Colson and Bradley Colson. |
and more misinformation maybe...
The Brothers Car Collection was founded in the early 1990s by Dann and Geoff Carrington. This collection includes everything from rare and exotic vehicles to everyday classics, making it one of the world’s largest private collections. So, who knows. |

If I am not mistaken, I think the youtube channel called "Muscle Car of the Week" features vehicles from their collection.

Interesting. A car buddy of mine just shot me an invite for a tour. I plan on going. Just watched a video. Strong on the muscle cars. Seems very well done. I will report back after the visit.
