This was a few years back, our little club got access for some hot laps on Bristol Motor Speedway (one of the members was Cale Yarborough's sister). That's me lapping the Boxsters. (my oldest son was behind me in his 997S). :D

A few times now I've been having a discussion about cars with some petrolheads who bad mouthed my darling SC. I say "You're probably right, these newer cars are great. What's your fastest lap time at Manfield?" "What? You haven't driven Manfield, duh, my fastest lap time is 1 minute, 26 seconds, which is very fast for a road legal car, and just short of what a full blown track car does," That shuts them up.

The Ozark track is a real blast. I have drive across lots of rail road tracks, but never down one!
