I'm approaching the century mark in cars owned: three of my favorites here ...

I had one of these in the early 90s, but I had chrome Centra wheels.
https://cdn.dealeraccelerate.com/cam...450sl-roadster Early 00s I had this M3. Sexy little car, but I never thought it was the legend that everyone thinks it is. https://collectingcars.imgix.net/004...s&cs=srgb&q=85 Then I got into Porsches. |
I wish I had kept my 72 S targa, sold it for $25,000 when I thought that was a lot of money. My 73 T was better looking though, at least I thought. I put a 3.2 motor in it because that was the thing to do back when I owned it. Also sold it a few years after selling the 72, also for $25,000. We kept the wife’s 2000s Boxster till it died though.

Since 1970 when I got my first car I have owned only 5, not counting my wife's cars. I still own two of them. I have not bought a car since 1995, again not counting my wife's cars. |
I have a hard time deciding

25 total. Chocs Mercedes was a looker that I had for almost four years. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699628014.JPG |
After many many many the current Stable is my favorite.
Now that I'm in the retirement, curious to see if these are the one's I'll own until I'm in the ground, or if will change in the coming years. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699628694.jpg |
I can't decide. I love(d) them all. Nothing incredible, just mine.

I was going to say the 64 Riviera,
over the 86 911 turbo look, 74 RSR, 71 Pantera, 70.5 Z28, 53 VW, 70 240Z, 65 Mustang convertible etc. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699633258.jpg Race cars always look better racing. ;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699633504.jpg Years ago had a 33 and a (yellow) 37 chopped flatback they still look neat. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699633604.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699633616.jpg The best looking photo of my current car. :) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699633887.jpg |
Till my 912 is done, probably this. Just need to fix it too. :)

Ted's got nice cars. I've always admired the '64 Buick, and the '34 Vicky is just drop dead gorgeous. And of course his race cars are immaculate, at least in pictures. Blondie looks good in the Buick, too!
I've had 3 cars in the last 30 years; a '92 Toyota pickup, white, an '88 911, GP white with Champagne, and an '82 E28, in Bronzit with beige leather. This picture of the E28 is aspirational. When and if mine is complete it will have similar wheels as these (16's, not 17's) and this stance. I think it's really handsome in this color. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1699661416.jpg |
