ID this object I pulled out of my tire.
This thing has no sharp edges or points and was buried all the way into my driver's side front tire. Took forever to pull it out of there, but I did and the plug seems to be holding up. WTF is this?

Looks like one of the receiver cross pins from a 10/22 to hold the trigger group in place.... diameter to length is wrong for the same parts on an AR (2 of 'em.... unless you have some paperwork and the 3rd hole)

Something that was spinning or rotating for a good part of its life.
Maybe a pivot rod of some sort off of a motorcycle?

It's gotta be a motorcycle chain rivet. Something with double side plates. You can also see two areas of light wear on the centre consistent with holding a roller or going over a sprocket.

I'm thinking some sort of industrial/agricultural chain pin. Somebody replaced it and set it on the frame of the machine and left it there to fall off on the freeway. Looks like it was hammered, pushed or worn apart on the one end. Like a chain that was not running true or had a sideways load.
