Typical of people who see a car as art in time. None will ever be made again, so you can drive them or look at them. But you know what they say, they're only original once.
Or you can take the Ferrari ownership ethos. Those guys firmly believe putting a lot of miles on a car is destroying it. You can add which kind of destruction as you survey the group; financial or mechanical. Financial being 2 things, value and repairs. Mechanical is just observed usage. The seats will get wrinkles, the chassis will get dirty — OMG.
I'm sure you knew at least one guy who was proud as hell of his virgin ashtray and lighter. That is if you're old enough.
