I try to sell my excess stuff/junk very cheaply first. You know, Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. I always try to get it to someone who has a need for it. If that fails, I pitch it out or scrap it if it is metal.

Just ship it to the curb in his neighborhood. He'll find it and take it home.

I have a lot of good junk and I’m trying to whittle it down. I sold my photo studio on Craig’s list for about 10% of what I paid for it. I have esoteric Nikon parts and pieces that I would give away to someone who could use it.
I have a lot of extra hand tools that I am taking to Habitat for Humanity. They sell claw hammers for $1.50.

Check your hammers before you give then away. I randomly checked one of mine on ebay and it sells for $60 all day.

Spending the morning getting rid of paperwork....old invoices, bills, etc.

Feels good and I need to do more.

I'm pulling very few out to save.

Some palm trees I bought 3 years ago. I know I have a photo record of them because I use the date stamp function on all my photos. But the invoice shows the price I paid, which is always of interest.

Two of them are Royal Palms in 15 gallon containers....you should see those suckers now! The base gets very wide and always impresses.....

I sold this lot a few years ago hammers and chizzels. I have about that many collected again i need to go through them :rolleyes: The guy came from a couple hours away for them. He said he has a buisiness restoring them and sells them on his website.
