Could this topic be taken seriously.
 https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/shaft-stiffness-and-efficiency.556860/ For the record, after playing with many shafts, I settled on a 13mm tip, conical taper, maple shaft with tight grain. I liked the stiff hit with good feedback it delivered.
