Homemade Motorcycle
I'm sure most of us have heard of New Zealander John Britten and his V1000. Well, here's one that somehow escaped my attention. Meet Dr. Robin Tuluie and his own version of the homemade motorcycle. What an incredible story:
As mentioned in the video, Dr. Tuluie was on the Renault F1 team when Alonso was winning championships, then moved to Mercedes and achieved notable results there as well. Dr. Tuluie is apparently the genius behind Ducati's resurgence in Moto GP, as if his F1 accomplishments weren't enough. I can't decide if I would rather have a Britten or a Tul-Aris... Fortunately, it's not likely I'll ever have to choose...

Interesting. I was just in the Museum of New Zealand in Wellington, where I saw a different (and in my opinion, cooler) Britton bike. It had spectacular exhaust curves and routing.

I remember that. It kept trying to wheelie while leaned over coming out of corners.
