Trooper gives biker a 'love tap' after 134 mph chase

The best part is the last two minutes.
The trooper is driving a Tahoe.

Nice! If you don't want to find out in Arkansas, then don't eff around!

If you just want to see the love tap, go to 3:45. If you go to 3:45, the bike has pulled off to the side, then the truck pulled next to/in front of him. Then you get the good stuff.

I wish they hadn't deleted the names the Trooper called him!

That Trooper was excellent...did not cause any bodily harm and did the job.

if you can't outrun a tahoe you're not cut out to be a rebel.

the gear he was wearing probably gave him a mega wedgie at 140+

Yes, I think the Trooper did his job quite well. Did the rider even have his helmet strapped on, no real need I suppose.

Shorts at 130+ has to give him some cred.

I don't get why folks run. You may be able to evade cops in some urban situations (get *just* far enough ahead to bail and run away) , but if you are just relying on flat our speed, you need to sustain a solid 160 mph+ for a long time. Not a lot of vehicles + driver skill that can pull something like that off.

Add in the rate that they are burning fuel at +120 MPH it won't take long to run through that 1/4 tank.

I still think that chases in the name of revenue generation should not be allowed .
If the guy had just robbed a bank or kidnapped a child , that is one thing, but all this for a few k worth of fine money and probation seems preposterous .
Nice driving anyhow

I knew dudes in 1994/5 that had successfully run from police several times without getting caught. It's possible and happens.

I've never done it, and wouldn't.

I had 3 friends get killed , running after they stole 5$ worth of gas . Im not blaming the poilce. Just stupid kids doing stupid things .
On dirt bikes the police never had a chance . Full throttle till we could get back into the woods.
I got to run from the police , in a stolen car investigation , then got caught several hours later after the chase , and there were no charges filed against me .
I was in a 1986 corvette . We were on back roads that I drove every single day . I was not sure that I was being chased, but saw a car gaining on me fast , and I just put the hammer down. As soon as I put some distance between us, I got off the roads and hid .

Anyone who runs should be booked into jail and their motorcycle/car/truck, whatever it is, impounded for a mandatory 30 days. No mercy on that stuff.
