I just snapped this 35 up last week. We’ve had one over 40 years to blow snow and cut grass. The Perkins sips fuel. I bought this one because it had new tires and wheels plus the PO installed a rear remote. My shoulders are wearing out.
I wanted a new kubota but couldn’t justify the cost for my purpose. We’re lifting the cab off our old unit and giving it a fresh boat of paint then we’ll put this one to work! ![]() Last edited by Reg; 12-18-2023 at 03:43 PM.. |

I have two Massey industrial 35's . They look like farm tractors with loaders and backhoes . I am assuming they are very similar .

I wanted cab heat and power steering plus remote. Well, when I’m done I’ll have a cab and a remote!! The Perk gives a bit of natural radiant heat.

Kubota's hold their value,, kinda like a Toyota
I bought a personal use Kubota 25 years ago, it only has 500 hours on it. I could sell it for darn near what I paid for it in todays Market

Great little tractor.
Is it common to find the British FE version in Canada?

Grandpa had three 35’s. I rebuilt a gasser a few years back. Wet sleeve. Nothing to it. Then some uncle smashed the hell out of it and we got a kubota.
I am a fan of the 35. It’s a joy to run. Also, interesting note, there are 35’s all over Turkiye. Probably the most common tractor I saw. |

The old girl we have similar to this one was about $3k (40 yrs ago) and I was told in running order even in need of restoration I’ll get $2500 for it all day long. The folks who bought small tractors 6-8 yrs ago were the lucky ones. They could sell today for what they paid or maybe more! |

My mum had a Massey Ferguson TEA-20 on her farm. It was the unsung hero of the farm. Never failed. Multi purpose.

Reg,
Is your Massey a four cylinder or a three? We had both when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s, with the four being a late 50s model. I remember getting one of them mired to the housing on a woods road and having to walk out and get a BIL to come back with the other 35 and a long length of chain. Ah, memories. ![]() Sweet looking old machine. Best Les

It’s a 3 cylinder diesel. Wife is OK with it. A Cherry MF is on a whole different level of a cherry Porsche.
I’d love to have a cherry old truck to go with my business but even those are big bucks nowadays. I can use this for parades if wish and blow snow/mow. Our other 35 was once pinched between two trees (Dad thought he could squeeze through on an angle) we had to get another tractor and chains to get it out. Trees still have the scars to prove. I thought we were going to break the 35 getting it out. |
