I have been hacking for over a week. Wife had it prior. And before that? Our dog had a respiratory
thing. It is possible to transmit between humans and canine. No idea. Another night of crappy sleep because I am hacking...

Mucinex could be your friend. Have you visited your doctor? Because you need lots of good sleep to beat it.
