The 24 Hours of Daytona is just around the corner so let's get this party started 🥳 . I looked on TV Racer website it looks like Peacock will show the entire race . NBC will show the 1st hour and the last two . Looking forward to a great season .

Will be interesting to see how the Lamborghini SC63 stacks up to Porsche, Cadillac, BMW and Acura. I don't think they're going to be ready for Daytona.

I’m going to the Roar on Friday. $15, all inclusive, insane bargain.

I'll be at the Roar and camping inside the track for the Rolex.

Pretty sure I'm going to the Roar. Not sure which day. The racing is going to be much better this year with the elimination of the LMP3 cars - it's just GTP, LMP2 and GTD.

GTD is all GT3 spec cars this year which are closer to production-based and the same spec across IMSA, WEC, Le Mans and SRO. Really looking forward to seeing the debut of the GT3 Mustang at Daytona. I saw it test at Sebring and it sounded great.

The Mustang Sampling livery reminds me of the old John Player Special . Very sexy ! I think the privateer LMP cars will be very competitive. Also looking forward to GT3 . There is something special about screaming flat sixes and flat crank V8's mixing it up .

Porsche/Penske have supposedly worked hard to eliminate the reliability issues that bit them last year . Really hoping for a competitive season .

Certainly the lost recognizable car on the grid this season will be "Spike" from AO Racing :cool:

The Roar/Rolex is great because of the new cars and teams coming out for the race.
And some guy named Brad Pitt is making a movie during the race. Must be a movie about an old race driver because BP ain't a kid anymore.

With the majic of Hollywood, he could be a teen sensation. :D

Looking at the website TV Racer the 24 hours of Daytona will be broadcast by :

NBC for 3 hours
USA for 12 hours
Peacock for the entire 24 hours

Start of the season is just around the corner !!!

Packing up supplies now for the road trip to the Roar through Sunday. Returning and again driving back to Daytona next Thursday for the R24. Can't get enough of this event, highlight of the year, missed only two in the last 53 years. The sport is thriving, 11 different manufacturers in the GT classes!

IMSA.tv with a VPN will get you race coverage too. With RLM no less.

The Opera browser on a Mac has a built-in VPN so that is what I am going to try.
