Exactly! The pain is a mirrored reflection of the joy felt. A direct inverse.

We can only hope we get the opportunity to experience that pain multiple times in our lives.

I’ve been gut wrenched before. I’ll be gut wrenched when my current pups leave me. And, I’ll go through it again,,, willingly.
