Unhappy Twin-engine jet plane crashes killing 2 near Naples

Two people were killed Friday afternoon after a twin-engine jet plane carrying 5 people burst into flames as it crashed on Interstate 75, near Naples, shutting down parts of the highway.

It would have been 5/5 fatalities if there wasn't sufficient AGL and a large road nearby.
The pilot saved three persons.

pilots did not but the FA did..

they had a dual engine failure.. extremely rare.. initial thoughts are either wrong/bad fuel but that plane was just out of MX also.. could be a factor..

Yikes. My youngest daughter is a private FA, flies out of Austin and Dallas.

We had a wrong fuel crash out of our local airport a few years back.

RIP to those deceased.

I was going to say he should have landed it on the grassy center divide since there were so many cars, but I doubt the pilot had much control. He didn't seem to be going more than 20-30mph faster than the traffic. Seems a miracle more people weren't killed or injured. I think the only injury from the cars was one minor one.
