I saw a short on YT. He was handing out award for "best costume design" or something like that. He opened with "costumes are SO important".

It was also the 50 yr anniversary of the streaker running across the stage.

Hopefully anyone that watched the show last night heard Sean Lennon ask the audience....

On a vaguely related note, I do remember the Oscars and various award shows being watched when I was growing up. I also remember us having the Labor Day Telethon on for most of the weekend as a kid.

The gays are losing the plot. They don't even know how many husbands Elizabeth Taylor has had these days.
