supposedly, they are releasing five other types of pizzas soon also.

Can't wait for the chicken liver pizza.

We have a chicken sandwich place here called Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken....It's a chain like KFC
They offer cups of cooked chicken livers or gizzards for $5 each.
#7 is the gizzard or liver meal.

I'm not a fan of the livers, but the gizzards are darn good.:)

KC is eligible for one free Chick Fila chicken pizza.
(expires 3/23/24) (midnight)

stevej37 03-23-2024 03:59 PM

The closest Chick Fil-A to me is an hour away.
Will be awhile before I try their pizza.

Zeke 03-23-2024 04:04 PM

^^^That's even a stretch for a drone.

stevej37 03-23-2024 04:17 PM

I'm more than 5 miles from any fast food place.
And then it's just McD's, BK or Subway.

Next closest are an hour away.
I like it that way.

Zeke 03-23-2024 04:26 PM

It seems like the inverse here. I'm 5 miles from 50 FF places. If you throw in Starbucks and donut shops I bet that's no exaggeration. And yes, C Fila is maybe a mile or 1.5 at the most.

Go to Wisconsin! A restaurant is offering on Friday nights, a Friday Night Fish Fry Pizza complete with deep fried cod, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

I remember as a kid in the 50's, my mother would make pizza for us on Friday's. She never had a pizza pan, so it was always made in a cake pan.
Home made dough, canned tomato sauce (from our garden), sliced fried sausage, and velveeta cheese on top.

It was the best pizza....I think she made 2 pans for the six of us.

Yes, a cake pan....but with a chef boyardee kit IIRC. Not her top dish but I did not complain.

I'm going to get one of those pizza's because of the pickles. I want to test it. There's only one way to really get to know something and that's to put it in your mouth.

I grew up on velveeta for some things, cheese toast, and maybe topping for some casseroles or to make mac-n-cheese. I've never had or heard of velveeta on pizza

Yep, I grew up with those same kits, but on a pizza pan and with ground beef for the topping.

It looks like CFA pizza is only available at their test kitchen restaurant called Little Blue Menu in College Park, MD. I hope this is wrong, because I am very interested in trying one. Here are some of their options...

• Chick-fil-A Pizza Pie: The classic Chick-fil-A experience on a pizza. Mozzarella cheese topped with juicy, seasoned-to-perfection chopped Chick-fil-A Nuggets, drizzled with Chick-fil-A Sauce and served with pickles.

• Buff-lo-Ranch Pizza Pie: Mozzarella cheese topped with seasoned-to-perfection sliced Chick-fil-A Nuggets, buffalo sauce and creamy house-made ranch dressing drizzles, and a dusting of lemon pepper seasoning.

• Cheese Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.

• Pepperoni Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, topped with pepperoni.

• Meats-n-Veg Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, topped with a medley of pepperoni, sliced sausage, chorizo, meatballs, mushrooms and red bell peppers.

• Pepperoni Pizza ‘Round: A twist on the classic calzone, but meant to be carried a ‘Round. Stuffed with signature tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
