Thank you everyone! I appreciate your kind words. My plans are to referee professional boxing and MMA bouts working my way up to championship fights. I will definitely write a book about the realities of policework.

Allow me to pile on. That is a remarkable achievement and I’m sure they’ll miss you as you’ll miss them (hopefully to a lesser degree!). Thank you on behalf of all of us who back the blue.
You must have some stories! My son is one year into Nashville’s NMPD and he’s already loads more interesting.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Congratulations David,
That is one heck of a milestone. I broke 30 years this past Feb and looking at retiring in December. Will be two months shy of 31 years. Spent several down south before heading up to Northern CA. Enjoy your well earned time off brother. Cheers Trevor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
